FAQ’s

-What is your style?
I like to think of my editing and photography style as dark/filmy with candid/ life style moments. I look at expressing intimate moments, moody feels, and big laughs during our time together.

-Do you offer Discounts?

If I do, it’s for active military, referrals, or returning clients, I usually may offer something during a consultation but I do not automatically apply nor give discounts. 

-Do you allow pets?
Of course! Just know that if you want photos without the pet someone will need to hold them or arrangements need to be made on the clients end.

-What if we would like to take photos inside a location or its cold out?
I must know prior as permits are usually required 3 days to a week in advance. It is the client’s responsibility to pay any fees that may be required for use of an indoor facility. Location Fee’s average around $50-$150.

*Do you have Wedding Packages?
After we meet for a consultation I will email you 3 package options that will best fit for your day at a low and high end.

*Does your services include a second shooter?
All weddings priced above $1800 include a second professional photographer.  

*Is an engagement session included?
Any wedding packages above $1800 include a 1 hr engagement session.

-How many photos will I receive?
The amount depends on what you booked, on average I deliver up to 30-40 per hour and make sure to give a variety.

-Do I get all of the photos?
You will receive a selected amount of JPEG photos through an online gallery that best represents my work and clients that come with your session. WEDDINGS- You will receive all JPEG photos that best represent my work and clients. usually the minimum is 300 photos.

-What is your price range?
Dependent on what you book sessions can range from $200-$400
Weddings can range from $2200-$5000
Elopements can range from $900-$3000.

-Do you travel?
Yes, dependent on schedule. I will travel out of state/country. There is a travel fee for driving distances beyond 40 miles of Blue Springs, MO. Travel out of state/country vary on hotel, flight, gas, meals, and duration. Most out of state travel cost start at $1700

*What if it rains?
I have the gear to protect my equipment if it rain, along with umbrellas. Inclement weather coming in may reschedule a regular session but I usually to do not call that reschedule till the day of.

-Do you alter photos?

I do not alter body sizes, change clothing, color, nor remove people from photos.

-How soon will I have my photos?
My goal is to have a sneak peek up within 48hrs and a full gallery sent off in under three weeks. Weddings may be up to six weeks.

-How do I pay you?/ What payment types do you accept?
A retainer fee is due at the time of booking, 50% is due a week prior, and 100% due by scheduled session.
***Photos are not delivered until paid in full.***
Forms of payment: Cash, Check, Venmo (espysphotography) and PayPal.me/espysphotography (includes a convenience fee)
